Friday without the Box (go back »)

I'm always thinking I should write on here, but I never do.
So 30 kids at my school got expelled at school because of a mass girl fight that happened on Monday. Then Tuesday one of the parents came to the school a bit a security gaurd in the chest. The craziest thing is, when my friend told me this, I just shrugged it off. Afterwards I said, "Man, good thing it wasn't a female security guard because they would've just hung on to her boob. That would've hurt like hell." Stuff like this always happens at my school. It's weird the things you'll get used to. I was talking to one of my friends who has family in Pakistan and he aunt said Benzair Bhutto's assisination wasn't a big deal because choas breaks out like that everday. I just found that wild. How can someone get used to that? Well, I guess under certain conditions humans ajust or it just becomes routine. Normal for one person is not normal for another.
I had to read Catched in the Rye over again for required reading. I remember reading it in middle school (or maybe freshman year?) and thinking it was the best book ever. It really isn't, but I understand why it's so significant.
Birthday coming up really soon. One of the "fly girls" wants to do a combined party with me. I really don't know how to feel about it. I'm really indiffrent. I'd just be fine having some people over and just playing Wii or Guitar Hero.
Yeah, I thought the boredum would go away, but I'm just getting bored with myself. I'm out.
This is the first weekend in 2 months I haven't spent the Friday night filling my box with articles. It's awful boring. I'm so used to not having the time to make plans I didn't even consider making them.
